Quick start

1. Put each surface inside a supported Auto Layout component.
2. Name the top component Hyda/Widget/Name, Hyda/Calendar/Name, or Hyda/Screensaver/Name.
3. Select a layer and apply its data, action, colour and accessibility settings.
4. Select the top component and complete its surface descriptor and all four preview-license fields.
5. Select the finished top component or components and press Export .hyui.

Selection or component-name error

Select the top component itself, not only one child. Its name must start with exactly one of the three supported Hyda/…/ prefixes.

Unsupported layout or effect

Use the exact layer named by the message. Rebuild that layer with supported Auto Layout, fills and shapes. The exporter does not rasterize an unsupported subtree or silently change its layout.

Preview-license field required

Select the top component and provide the author, original HTTPS source, license name and HTTPS license terms, then press Apply license. CalHub Creator does not invent provenance.

Export will not install

Keep the .hyui extension and archive unchanged. Version 1.0.0 produces an unsigned package, so enable CalHub Developer mode and expect a visible Unverified label. Normal mode correctly refuses it until CalHub signing and publishing are available.
